Field Directions:

 

Directions are given from two reference points: Lebanon and West Lebanon.  The Lebanon directions begin as if someone were starting at the Lebanon Green.  The West Lebanon directions begin as if someone were starting at the intersections of I-89 and Route 12A.

 

S: (Smith Field)

Lebanon – Route 4 towards the Miracle Mile (movie theater, DMV) and continue over Seminary Hill to the traffic light at the base of the hill near the Seminary Hill Plaza.  Right onto Maple Street and continue through two stop signs.  Field is on the Right just before sharp left hand bend in road.

West Lebanon – Route 12A to the traffic light at the base of Seminary Hill near the Seminary Hill Plaza.  Straight through the intersection onto Maple Street and continue through two stop signs.  Field is on the Right just before sharp left hand bend in road.

 

L: (Logan Field)

Lebanon – Route 4 towards the Miracle Mile (movie theater, DMV).  First Left after leaving the Green onto Water Street.  Continue down Water Street until you get to the first stop sign.  Field is on Right.

West Lebanon – I-89 South to Exit 19.  Right off the exit ramp onto Route 4 heading towards the Lebanon Green.  Just before Green take Right onto Water Street.  Continue down Water Street until you get to the first stop sign.  Field is on Right.

 

E: (Elks Field)

Lebanon – Hanover Street towards I-89.  Right onto Route 120 and continue past I-89.  First Right after I-89 onto Heater Road.  First Left onto Lambombard Road.  Field is on your Right.

West Lebanon – I-89 South to Exit 18.  Left off the exit ramp onto Route 120 heading towards Hanover.  After passing over I-89 take the First Right onto Heater Road.  First Left onto Lambombard Road.  Field is on your Right.

 

NG and N2: (Norwich Girard Field and Norwich Softball Field located at Huntley Meadows)

Lebanon – Hanover Street towards I-89.  Right onto Route 120 towards I-89 and Hanover.  Continue past I-89, DHMC, and Jesse’s Restaurant into Hanover.  Bear Right at “Y” intersection onto North Park Street.  Continue on North Park Street to the second traffic light.  Left onto East Wheelock Street (Route 10) towards Ledyard Bridge and Norwich.  Continue on East Wheelock Street past the Hanover Inn, Dartmouth College Green, over Ledyard Bridge and into Vermont.  Continue past I-91, Norwich Elementary School, and Dan & Whits store.  Second Left after Dan & Whits onto Turnpike Road.  Fields are on Left (look for the sign for Huntley Meadows) well off the road below the parking area.

West Lebanon – I-89 North into Vermont.  First exit in Vermont (no exit number) on to I-91 North to exit 13 (Hanover/Norwich).  Left off the exit ramp towards Norwich village.  Continue past Norwich Elementary School, and Dan & Whits store.  Second Left after Dan & Whits onto Turnpike Road.  Fields are on Left (look for the sign for Huntley Meadows) well off the road below the parking area.

 

LHS: (Lebanon High School) (A & B ball use)

Lebanon – Hanover Street towards I-89.  Right onto Route 120 and continue past I-89.  Second Left after I-89 onto Heater Road.  Continue on Heater Road to the first stop sign.  Field is on the Left.

West Lebanon – I-89 South to exit 18.  Left off the exit ramp onto Route 120 towards DHMC/Hanover. Second Left after passing over I-89 onto Heater Road.  Continue on Heater Road to the first stop sign.  Field is on the Left.

 

LHS: (Lebanon High School) (T-ball use)

Lebanon – Hanover Street towards I-89.  Right onto Route 120 and continue past I-89.  First Left after I-89 onto Evans Drive.  First Right past the football field.  Set up 3 T ball fields in grass area between the parking lot and football field.

West Lebanon – I-89 South to exit 18.  Left off the exit ramp onto Route 120 towards DHMC/Hanover. First Left after passing over I-89 onto Evans Drive.  First Right past the football field.  Set up 3 T ball fields in grass area between the parking lot and football field.

 

JRH: (Lebanon Junior High School)

Lebanon – Bank Street/Route 4 towards Enfield.  Left at the Lebanon Junior High School.  Follow driveway around to the back of the school.  Field is below and behind the school.

West Lebanon – I-89 South to exit 19.  Right off the exit ramp onto Route 4 towards the Lebanon Green.  Continue on Route 4 around the Green on to Bank Street/Route 4 towards Enfield.  Left at the Lebanon Junior High School.  Follow driveway around to the back of the school.  Field is below and behind the school.

 

SHS: (Seminary Hill School / Civic Field)

Lebanon – Route 4 towards the Miracle Mile (movie theater, DMV) and continue over Seminary Hill.  Left onto Aldrich Avenue (look for sign to Civic Field).  Follow Aldrich Avenue to the end.  Field is on Right.

West Lebanon – Route 12A to the traffic light at the base of Seminary Hill near the Seminary Hill Plaza.  Right onto Route 4 heading up Seminary Hill and continue past the Seminary Hill School.  Right onto Aldrich Avenue (look for sign to Civic Field).  Follow Aldrich Avenue to the end.  Field is on Right.

 

RVR: (Riverdale / Pat Walsh Field)

Lebanon – Bank Street/Route 4 towards Enfield.  Left onto Bank Street Extension.  Continue on Bank Street Extension over the old railroad tracks to bottom of hill.  Field is on Right.

West Lebanon – I-89 South to exit 19.  Right off the exit ramp onto Route 4 towards the Lebanon Green.  Continue on Route 4 around the Green on to Bank Street/Route 4 towards Enfield.  Left onto Bank Street Extension.  Continue on Bank Street Extension over the old railroad tracks to bottom of hill.  Field is on Right.

 

MS: (Mascoma Shaker Field)

Lebanon – Bank Street/Route 4 towards Enfield.  Continue on Route 4 passing under I-89 and go over hill.  Right onto Route 4A at the base of the hill.  Continue for roughly three and a half miles past Mascoma Bridge and LaSalette.  The field will be just past Shaker Village on the Left.

West Lebanon – I-89 South to exit 17.  Right off the exit ramp onto Route 4 towards Enfield.  Continue on Route 4 over hill.  Right onto Route 4A at the base of the hill.  Continue for roughly three and a half miles past Mascoma Bridge and LaSalette.  The field will be just past Shaker Village on the Left. 

 

MH: (Mascoma Hughes Field)

Lebanon – Bank Street/Route 4 towards Enfield.  Continue on Route 4 passing under I-89 and go over hill.  Stay straight on Route 4 at base of hill and continue past roller skating rink.  Stay on Route 4 at sharp left hand bend and go past Enfield Elementary School to intersection at base of hill.  Straight through intersection.  Field is on Right after intersection. 

West Lebanon – I-89 South to exit 17.  Right off the exit ramp onto Route 4 towards Enfield.  Continue on Route 4 over hill.  Stay straight on Route 4 at base of hill and continue past roller skating rink.  Stay on Route 4 at sharp left hand bend and go past Enfield Elementary School to intersection at base of hill.  Straight through intersection.  Field is on Right after intersection.

 

 

KUA: (Kimball Union Academy)

Lebanon – Route 120 for several miles.  KUA is on the right.  Baseball field is visible from road.
West Lebanon – I-89 South to Exit 19.  Right off the exit ramp onto Route 4 heading towards the Lebanon Green.  Continue on Route 4 around the Green on to School Street/Route 120.  Route 120 for several miles.  KUA is on the right.  Baseball field is visible from road.

 

 

H :HUR & HLR: Hartford (Upper Ratcliffe & Lower Ratcliffe at Ratcliffe Park)

Lebanon – Route 4 towards the Miracle Mile (movie theater, DMV) and continue over Seminary Hill to the traffic light at the base of the hill near the Seminary Hill Plaza.  Continue through the Seminary Hill light onto North Main Street passing the fire station and library.  Left onto Bridge Street at the traffic light near Foodstop and Go Go Mart.  Cross bridge into Vermont and take Left at first traffic light next to Hartford Municipal Building.  Follow under railroad bridge and take Left at 4-way intersection onto Main Street.  Follow Main Street around as it bears to the right passing Hotel Coolidge, then continue straight passing the American Legion and paralleling the railroad tracks.  Left at Nutt Lane (look for the sign “Ratcliffe Park” at the railroad crossing).  Cross over railroad tracks and take first Left onto Latham Works Lane.  Right into parking lot for Ratcliffe Park.  Upper Ratcliffe is the field closest to the parking lot.  Lower Ratcliffe is the field clos
est to the river.
